After over four decades in recovery and many years as a lukewarm disciple,  Holy Spirit convicted me of "hiding my light under a bushel." (Revelation 3:16, Matthew 5:15) I had the education, experience, and desire to serve Him but I didn't know how.  So, I just started this website and podcast to make myself available to anyone needing a hand up and out of any of life's many pits.

I'm here to be a confidential listener to help wise people navigate life trials, such as grief, depression, suicidal thoughts,  prodigal children, and other challenges, in addition to very common addictions such as alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, gambling, smoking, shopping, over-eating, etc. 

Only by the Grace of God, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling Psychology, a Master's Diploma in Biblical Counseling, over four decades of experience in  recovery through an "anonymous" fellowship.

My experience and education have grounded me in God's Word, our ultimate authority. He has the solution to all of our problems. My goal is to help you discover those solutions and get God's perspective on your situation so you can choose to be free.

The ministry He has given me is to mainly just listen. I listen to you. I listen to Him. I trust Holy Spirit to be the true guide for us both. (John 16:13)

As a lay counselor I am not a "professional" and  I'm not licensed by any government agency. As such,  I am not a "mandated reporter." This means that our conversations will always be completely confidential.
